Public Library Association Meeting in Portland

I know this is crazy to post since we've been talking about not flying to conferences but I am wondering if anyone is planning on going to PLA's conference in Portland in March. I'm thinking it might be a good networking opportunity but is it worth the carbon footprint?

online learning instead of traveling

We are hoping to host an online only conference this spring for all universities in the state on the topic of .... sustainability best practices! Has anyone hosts a totally online conference?I'm trying to promote more online training and instruction for our library/librarians so we don't have to travel (its greener and cheaper) and allows more participation. What do you all think?See More
